Masseria Mosca Offers accommodations with a private kitchen, private parking, swimming pool and 1 hectare of lush mediterranean vegetation including orchards of oranges, Lemon, Figues and Medlars, as well as wild rocket salad, black berries and aromatic plants.
The Story
Masseria Mosca is a fortified farmhouse from the 17th Century. It served as dwelling for families of farmers in feudal times. It was fortified because for hundreds of yeast the coast of Salento had been raided by Ottomans, Moors, Sarcens and Venetians. It rose from its on rubbles in 1991 thanks to the ideas of designer Flavio Napoleone and Architect Franco Carriero. In 2023 Flavio’s Son, Francesco Napoleone and his friends Toby, Daniel and Fabian decided to keep it it’s untouched beauty but give it new life. Today the Masseria is managed on Site By Frank’s Parents – his Mum Loredana and her long time husband Dino.
All the rooms offer a private bathroom, private Patio and fully furnished kitchen as well as air conditioning. Some of the room have a fully functioning fireplace as well.

Masseria Mosca is strategically placed in “South-Salento” only 3km from Gallipoli and its bustling night life, yet far enough to enjoy total piece and silence. 2 Km away from the motorway which connects Lecce to Santa Maria di Leuca and a 15 minutes walk to the village of Chiesanuova where one can find groceries and supplies.
